###ct during the period from 10th June, to 9th December, ###941, the number of lambs slaughtered was only 74.3% ### that expected. I have shewn that the yield of ###ue beef cattle over the same period was also 74.3% ### expectation. On the 8th July, 1941, the number of lambs ###aughtered was little (3.6%) less than expectation, ###ilst in the case of beef cattle on the 12th August, ###e expected number of cattle had been killed. On the 5th August, 1941, the number of lambs ###aughtered in each week began to decrease and in the ###ek beginning on 14th October, 1941, was only 41.
