The Chairman has been considering whether it would be possible to reduce the calls which the work of the Committee makes upon the time of its members, particularly those who have to travel long distances to attend meetings. He feels that this might be done without prejudice to the work of the Committee by reducing the number of full meetings and arranging for a large part of the work of drafting reports and memoranda to be carried out by the relevant sub-committees.
