DRAFT TWELFTH REPORT. The Nutritive Value and Production of Food Yeast. At their meeting held on 28th November, 1940, the Food Policy Committee invited the Scientific Committee to examine the value of yeast for purposes of human and animal nutrition and to advise on the possibility of its manufacture from molasses (F.P.(M)(40)38th Meeting, Conclusion 4). The Scientific Committee appointed a specialist Sub-Committee to investigate these matters and the report of this Sub-Committee which has been accepted accompanies this report.
