L.P.15. 1 CONFERENCE ON LIVESTOCK POLICY Further memorandum by Professor D.M.S. Watson. An estimate of the supplies of Feeds on January 31st and April 31st 1940 and of their consumption by livestock in the periods Feb-April and May-August, 1940, compared with the realised results. At the 2nd meeting of the Livestock conference it was suggested by the Chairman that sane test of the reliability of the method and assumption used in the preparation of the calculations recorded in L.P.6 made to determine the adequacy of feeding stuffs in the periods February-April and May-August 1941, could be made by making identical estimates for similar periods in 1940 and comparing them with the actually realised results.
