1. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING. The minutes of the previous meeting (S.F.C.(41) 3rd Meeting) were considered and approved subject to the following amendments:- Page 2, Paragraph 3, line 4, and onwards to read: "As a result of the increase in arable land he was of opinion that British agriculture had considerably increased its nett production of foodstuffs capable of being used for human consumption had this been necessary. He would be glad to discuss with Professor Ashby any calculations he had made, indicating a contrary view".
