BREAD. 1. The Scientific Committee on Food Policy have reconsidered their report on Bread (F.P.(M.) (40) 92, in the light of recent information. They learnt: (a) that the Ministry of Food will not be able to add synthetic Vitamin B1 to all white flour until August, 1941; (b) that there are certain technical difficulties in using an 80% extraction of wheat, and that it has been suggested that an 85% extraction be used.
