1. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING. The Minutes of the previous meeting (S.F.C.(40) 16th Meeting) were considered and approved. II. BREAD. (Previous Reference: S.F.C.(40) 16th Mtg. Conclusion 5). SIR ALAN ANDERSON said that the Sub-Committee on Bread understood that in view of the delay which had arisen in producing synthetic vitamin B.1. in adequate quantities for addition to bread, the Ministry of Food now proposed to place on the market, at the same price as white bread and in quantities sufficient to meet public demand, a bread of 85% extraction.
