16 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING. The Minutes of the previous meeting (S.F.C.(40) 9th Meeting) were considered and approved. 2. INTERVIEW WITH THE MINISTER OF FOOD. THE CHAIRMAN said that since the Joint Meeting between the Food Policy Committee and the Scientific Committee, the Minister of Food had asked to see one or two members of the Committee, more especially those concerned with agriculture. An informal meeting had accordingly taken place at which the Minister had laid particular emphasis on his willingness to arrange for any of his officials to attend meetings of the Scientific Committee and to give them any help they might desire.
