2. for the export to the United Kingdom of 1,600 tons weekly during March to be reduced to 1,500 tons after the end of the present month. They are also prepared, if pressed, to reduce their total shipments to 60,000 tons a year, scaled down on the following lines:- total April, May and June. 20,000 tons (A reduction of 31% on last year) July, August and September. 16,000 tons (A reduction of 45% on last year) October, November and December. 12,000 tons (A reduction of 50% on last year) This would leave a balance of 12,000 tons to be supplied in January, February and March next year in order to make up a total of 60,000 tons.
