5 FOOD POLICY. SIR HORACE WILSON explained to the meeting that the APPOINTMENT Home Policy Committee at their meeting on the 27th OF SUB- COMMITTEE OF HOME POLICY November, 1939 (H.P.C.(39) 18th Meeting, Minute 2) had COMMITTEE. appointed a Sub-Committee with the object of keeping under continuous and close review the broader aspects of the problems of food policy. He had accordingly summoned this meeting of Heads of Departments to explain to them the circumstances in which the Ministerial Sub-Committee had been appointed, and its objects.
