-2- V. COMMODITY SUPPLY POSITION. ENERGY FOODS. Bulk stocks of wheat and flour continue to fall; the outlook for rice has again improved; sugar stocks have Wheat & Flour. Rice. Potatoes. ENERGY Oilseeds & Vegetable Oils. Butter. ANIMAL PROTEIN fallen sharply since March; supplies of potatoes in August exceeded human consumption. Arrivals of wheat in August fell further to an average of 52 thousand tons a week and no significant improvement in arrivals is forecast for September/ November. Bulk stocks of wheat and flour fell during August from 17.
