Condition of Crops and Livestock (England and Wales) as at 1st February, 1942 1. Weather conditions were severe throughout January, snow-storms and keen frosts being experienced in most districts in the latter half of the month. Cultivations were held up, but as work was well forward at the beginning of the month the position was about normal.
