5. 22 of the 47 Wages Committees in England and Wales hav now fixed above the 48s. national minimum. The Agricultural Wa Board is due to meet on November 5th to consider further the mot for an increase of the national minimum wage. Wages Committees in Scotland are at present in process of revising the minimum rates fixed last November. Livestock. 6. A new Schedule of prices for fat cattle has been annou### covering the period to the end of June 1942. 7. Owing to the cessation of foot and mouth disease in Ei### imports of livestock from Ireland are being resumed from October 20th, subject to certain safeguards.
