ODUCTORY NOTE The form of the tables has been slightly altered in order to show, for commodity stocks owned or controlled by the Ministry; these are throughout Stocks at the beginning of the war and at the end of the ed bulk stocks. t year of war are, as nearly as possible, comparable with figures at later dates. Total arrivals in the two weeks ened 20th September, at 319 and 328 sand tons respectively, were much higher than in the previous fortnight when they 207 and 257 thousand tons respectively.
