SECRET Report No. 73 Copy No. MINISTRY OF FOOD (M. o. F. No. ) WEEKLY REPORT ON FOOD AND ANIMAL FEEDINGSTUFFS FOR THE WEEK ENDED 17TH MAY, 1941. 1. IMPORTS Arrivals of the principal foods and feeding stuffs in the week ended 10th May, at 223 thousand tons, were not unsatisfactory whilst in the week ended 17th May, at 365 thousand tons, they were exceptionally large, This was mainly due to heavy arrivals of wheat but good arrival figures were recorded for all the other major commodities. Estimated total arrivals in the five weeks ended 17th May were equivalent to an annual arrival rate of 15 million tons.
