Memorandum by the Minister of Food. For several months now discussions have been taking place on what is called "slaughter policy". As Minister of Food I am concerned to secure that our food resources are laced, in a controlled manner, at the service of the people of this country. In twenty months of war there has been no control over the home-produced eat supply and we have succeeded in carrying out a regular ration to the public ith supplies, both of home-produced and imported meat, coming in most ###regularly.
