(d) 100,000 tons of food yeast would supply about 1.5 ### to the population of this country and would conta head per week about as much good protein as, and much more B-vitamins than, 1/4lb. beef, or 1 pint of milk or 21/2 eggs. (e) It is estimated that per cubic foot of shipping required it will be possible to transport six times space the weight of food yeast protein compared with meat protein and whereas meat requires insulated ships, yeast protein will employ non-insulated ships for a shorter v###yage.
