MILK: The total quantity of milk sold for human consumption in Northern Ireland during the month of January, 1941, was 1,570,117 as compared with 1,339,850 gallons in January, 194 and 1,357,270 gallons in January, 1939. Milk sold for manufacturing purposes during January, 1941 totalled 547,357 gallons, as compared with 750,821 gallons in January, 1940, and 819,424 gallons in January, 1939. During the month 169,989 gallons of milk were diverted from manufacturing purposes and with the Ministry of Food, diverted from creameries to Under normal circumstances for January, 1941 would be figures.
