1. SUPPLIES OF CERTAIN FOODS AND ANIMAL FEEDS. The Committee had before them and took note of:- (i) Fortnightly Report by the Ministry of Food. (F.P.(M) (41) 90); (ii) Monthly Report for June, 1941, by the Minister of Food. (W.P.(R)(41) 49). THE MINISTER OF FOOD said that imports during June had come in well. The report for July would be satisfactory though not up to the June figures. There would be 9 additional ships from the U.S.A. in service in August and an additional 30 ships by the end of September.
