1. THE FOOD SITUATION: POSSIBLE MEASURES FOR DEVELOPING AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION. In pursuance of the Conclusions of a Meeting of Ministers held on 12th. March, 1941 (Reference 43) the Committee had before them a Note by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Secretary of State for Scotland (F.P.(M)(41) 37) on three suggestions made at that Meeting for helping to maintain the volume of home agricultural production. THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES said that the Memorandum was circulated for information.
