THE MINISTER OF FOOD referred to W.P.(R)(41) 16 and pointed out that the figure of arrivals in January (851,000 tons) was the lowest monthly figure since the outbreak of war and represented only 66% of 1/12th. of the revised import programme of 15,000,000 tons.
