The Committee had before them the following papers:- Memorandum by the Minister of Food, F.P.(M)(41) 5; Ninth Report by the Scientific Committee, F.P.(M)(41) 3; Memorandum by the Minister of Agriculture, F.P.(M)(41) 1. It was agreed to consider the Report by the Scientific Committee at a later date when the recommendations of the interdepartmental conference on slaughter policy would be available. The Committee therefore confined their attention to the comments on the Perry Report contained in the Memoranda by the Minister of Food and the Minister of Agriculture.
