SECRET (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) MINISTRY OF FOOD Report No. 55 Copy No. 126 FORTNIGHTLY REPORT ON SUPPLIES OF CERTAIN FOODS AND ANIMAL FEEDS Imports of WHEAT AND FLOUR in the fortnight ended December 14th, were higher than in any of the preceding three two-weekly periods, and were large enough to check the fall in reserve stocks. Total stocks of MAIZE AND MAIZE MEAL were 18 thousand tons higher at December 14th, than a fortnight earlier. Imports in the fortnight under review were higher than in any of the four preceding periods, whilst allocations were reduced from 39 thousand tons a week to 31 thousand tons.
