MINISTRY OF FOOD SECRET Report No. 51 Copy No. 121 WEEKLY REPORT ON SUPPLIES OF CERTAIN FOODS AND ANIMAL FEEDS (1) Average weekly imports of WHEAT AND FLOUR during October were 26 per cent below the weekly average for the first year of war; reserve stocks have declined during the month from 17.1 to 16.4 weeks' requirements of flour. (2) Imports of MAIZE AND MAIZE MEAL during the week ended November 2nd were smaller than in any week since the beginning of July; imports since the end of September, however, have offset utilisation and stocks have been maintained.
