The repercussions of the scheme on the supply of fat cattle also require consideration. 7. I would suggest that, if the above assurance can be given, consultation should take place between officers of my Department and the Agricultural Departments with the object of securing the amendments of the scheme that are necessary to safeguard the milk supply and to met the points referred to in the previous paragraph.
