HOPS. EMERGENCY MARKET ARRANGEMENT. Memo. by Minister of Food.

(c) the carry-over from last year's crop to be moved immediately and before this year's crop was drawn upon; (d) no more hops to be moved into the Borough until at least 50% of those in store (including the new crop hops already moved to London) had been marketed and despatched; (e) the Hops Board to simplify their system for the issue of permits; to accept instructions by telegram, etc.; (f) merchants to be permitted to sample hops immediately upon arrival at their warehouses without instructions from the grower.
