WAR CABINET FOOD POLICY COMMITTEE RESTRICTION OF SERVICE RATIONS OF BACON Memorandum by the Secretary of State for Air. At the 30th Meeting of the Food Policy Committee the Service Ministers were invited to consider the possibility of reducing the Service rations of bacon - (1) by imposing a cut of the order of 25 per cent. on the rations for men; (2) by bringing down women's rations to 4 oz. per week (the level of the civilian ration).
