Memorandum by the First Lord of the Admiralty. 1. The Food Policy Committee at their 30th Meeting (FP (M) (40) 30th meeting para.1) invited the Service Ministers to consider the possibility of reducing the Service ration of bacon: (i) By making a cut of the order of 25% on the rations for men. (ii) By bringing down the women's rations to 4 ozs.
