THE STABILISATION OF COSTS OF PRODUCTION OF AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES MEMORANDUM BY THE INTER-DEPARTMENTAL COMMITTEE ON FOOD PRICES SUB-COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURAL PRICES 1. The Food Policy Committee at their meeting on 22nd August (F.P.(M)(40) 28th Meeting) agreed;- (e) that the draft announcement or announcements regarding the new prices should include a statement to the effect that the Government would review these prices in the event of any substantial change occurring in the cost of production and that in this connection they were considering the possibility of stabilising feeding-stuff prices; (f) that the Minister of Food should be invited, in consultation with the Treasury and Agricultural Departments, to submit to the Food Policy Committee as soon as possible a memorandum on the stabilisation of feeding-stuff prices.
