FOOD POLICY COMMITTEE AGRICULTURAL PRICES Note by the Minister of Food 1. Government policy regarding agricultural prices for 1940/41 was defined by the Lord President's Committee on June 28th, and was publicly announced. That policy was to distribute among agricultural producers a total additional sum of £341/2 millions a year in such manner as to give financial inducements to secure the production required by the Ministry of Food.
