The Committee are specially concerned with the prices of those home products which enter largely into the Basal Dietary which they have recommended namely milk, oats, potatoes and other vegetables, but their consideration of the probable future of supplies of milk and potatoes has shown the immediate necessity of examining the prices of these commodities.
