It is estimated from returns to date that during the past season some 15,000 deer may have been killed, a number satisfactorily in excess of the killing in a normal year. 6. Under Regulation 63A Orders were made giving occupiers additional or new rights to kill rabbits, hares and deer on their own holdings. Allotments. 7. Local Authorities in Scotland have so far provided land sufficient for 3,000 additional allotments either by entry on land under the Cultivation of Land (Allotments) (Scotland) Order, 1939, or by the temporary use of land already in their possession.
