3. Pig and poultry food mainly consists of cereals and in order to bring supplies up to either 50 per cent or 66 per cent or normal requirements at this season of the year it would be necessary to import during March and April additional quantities of cereals (maize, barley, feeding wheat and wheat offals) at the rate of 75,000 or 150,000 tons per month respectively. Maldistribution. 4. There are still considerable complaints of maldistribution both as regards one part of the country and another and between individual farmers.
