SECRET Monthly Statement No. 2 Copy No. 30 The attached statement of the statistical position of the principal foodstuffs in January and February, 1940, is the second of a series which are being circulated monthly to the Ministerial Committee on Food Policy. The figures will be revised each month in the light of the detailed statistical data collected for the monthly report to the War Cabinet. Future issues of this statement will project the statistical picture three months ahead instead of only two as in the present and first issues.
