1. CONSUMPTION OF TEA AND COCOA BY THE ROYAL AIR FORCE. (Previous Reference F.P.(M)(40) 20th. Meeting, Conclusion ###(b)). The Committee had before them a Memorandum by the Secretary of State for Air (Paper F.P.(M)(40) 155) setting out the position in regard to the consumption of tea and cocoa by the Royal Air Force. For the reasons given in his Memorandum the Secretary of State doubted whether it would be wise to cut down the tea ration below the 3/8oz. a day and pointed out that the consumption of cocoa at meals might be expected to increase as the weather got colder.
