1. FOOD SITUATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. The Committee had before them the following documents on the United Kingdom Food Situation :- Weekly Reports Nos. 41 and 42 by the Ministry of Food (Papers F.P.(M)(40) 131 and 134). Monthly Statement No. 9 (Paper F.P.(M)(40) 128) Eleventh Report by the Minister of Food for the month of July, 1940 (Paper W.P.(R)(40) 188) Refe###ing to ### Report No 42 T### ###STER OF FOOD drew attention to the following tonnage figures of imports and apparent consumption for the week ending August 31st.
