1. FOOD AND FEEDING STUFFS POSITION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. The Committee had before them Weekly Report No.35 by the Ministry of Food (F.P. (M)(40) 105). The following points were made in discussion:- (i) THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE asked whether the figures given in the Weekly Reports of the Ministry of Food were accepted by the Prime Minister's Statistical Section. He explained that he had in mind the Ministers' Meeting which was to be held, under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister, on the following Wednesday.
