1. FOOD AND FEEDING STUFFS POSITION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. (Previous Ref: F.P.(M)(40) 20th Mtg. Concl.2) The Committee had before them Weekly Report No. 33 by the Ministry of Food on the supplies of certain food and feeding stuffs (Paper No. F.P.(M)(40) 94). In reply to a question THE MINISTER OF FOOD said that rationing of tea had been introduced as from Tuesday, 9th July. Though good supplies of cocoa were available, it would not be desirable for the present to organise an extensive campaign to encourage the drinking of cocoa.
