Concl. 4) The Committee had before them a Memorandum by the Secretary of State for Scotland on the Food Production Programme for 1940-1941 (Paper No. F.P.(M)(40) 88). THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR SCOTLAND said that he was impressed with the unanimity with which practically all the Agricultural Executive Committees in Scotland had asked for guidance to enable them to frame their programmes of production for the coming year.
