21 OSITION OF ###JPPLIES OF EREALS. 1, THE COMMITTEE considered the official Sub- Committee's Report on supplies of Wheat and other Cereals, (Paper No. F.P. (M) (39)5). THE CHAIRMAN enquired whether, as assumed in the Report, the reliable figure as regards stocks of wheat was that showing the estimated stock each month at the Flour Mills and Port Granaries and not a figure inclusive of stocks on the farms. It was explained by the MINISTER OF FOOD that this was the case. The home-produced Wheat had to be threshed under uncertain weather conditions and, in addition, the amount consumed as animal feeding stuffs was not known.
