105. PICCADILLY Memorandum by the Secretary of State for War

3 Dec 1945

-2- (iii) Problem of the increase in staff because the various houses are separated from one another, and the fact that voluntary workers now at 105 Piccadilly could not continue as such in another part of London. This proposal was, therefore, not pursued further. 3. Alternative proposal by Ministry of Works. The Ministry of Works have made the following suggestion:— (a) That 11/13 and 16/18 Princes Gardens should be taken over as dormitory accommodation. and (b) That catering facilities should continue to be available at 105, Piccadilly by arrangement with Tunnel Cement Company.
