3. The Emergency Powers (Defence) Acts are due to expire in February, 1946, and it may not be practical to secure their further renewal. Under the scheme outlined in the previous paragraph, this would bring to an end the following classes of Regulations which are required until times later than February, 1946:- (i) various regulations noted for revocation some time after Stage A which are listed in E.L.(45) 9 as required until the Spring or Summer of 1946, or later, (ii) various regulations noted for revocation at Stage B which, according to the replies received in response to E.
