SUPPLIES AND SERVICES (TRANSITIONAL POWERS) BILL. The Committee had before then a note by the Joint Secretaries (E.L.(45) 12) covering a revised draft of the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) Bill which had been prepared with the object of— (i) enabling all forms of price control (including amendments of the Goods and Services (Price Control) Acts), to be effected by Defence Regulation, and (ii) including within the scope of the Bill the Defence (Finance) Regulations which deal with exchange control and the control of capital issues.
