(a) There will be children who have no home to return to. because the father is in one of the Services and the mother is on war works The disposal of these cases will depend on the rate at which demobilisation from the Forces and the factories proceeds; (b) There will be some mothers and children who no longer have a home in the evacuation area. It may have been destroyed by enemy action or it may have been broken up when the father joined the Forces and the mother was evacuated with the children to a reception area.
