CONFIDENTIAL COMMITTEE ON EMERGENCY LEGISLATION. SCHEDULE OF EMERGENCY ACTS OF PARLIAMENT PASSED BEFORE AUGUST 5TH, 1943. Preliminary Note. 1. The Schedule set out below contains all the enactments so far passed which are due to expire on a date declared by Order in Council to be the end of the emergency. In the great majority of cases the " emergency " is defined as the emergency that was the occasion of the passing of the particular Act concerned or, in the case of a group of Acts construed together, the passing of the principal Act of the group.
