SUPPLY OF MEDICAL JOURNALS AND TEXTBOOKS AND BOOKS FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS THE COMMITEE had before them Memoranda by the Ministry of Health and the Department of Health for Scotland (L.P.(B.)(42) 12) and by the University Grants Committee (L.P.(B.)(42) 10). The Ministry of Health and the Department of Health for Scotland stressed the need for maintaining, as close as possible to the pre-war level, the supply of paper to certain Medical Journals. The present position was satisfactory and they asked that it should be maintained.
