Paper (i) - of paper for books was allocated for a The supply period of four months at a time. During the current four months the following amount of paper is available for books (other than Government publications). (a) 6133 tons (equivalent to an annual rate of 18399 tons) issued at the rate of 371/2% of pre—war consumption to those publishers who have signed the War Economy Agreement and are members of the Export Groups and at the rate of 25% of pre-war consumption to other publishers. (b) 330 tons (equivalent to an annual rate of 990 tons) to assist the publication of particular books and distributed by the Paper Control on the advice of a committee nominated by the Publishers Association.
