STORAGE AND DISPOSALS: PROGRESS REPORT. Report by Lt. General Sir Wilfrid Lindsell.

14 Dec 1945

4. Airfields In co-operation with the Air Ministry, an allocation of accommodation in redundant airfields - so far declared as such - is being made. Available space has been allocated to meet as far as possible the demands for training centres, disposal depots, open and covered storage accommodation, and temporary housing for both civilian and Service needs. The demand for accommodation is by no means fully met, but further allocations will be made as more airfields are declared surplus by the Air Ministry.
