HOUSE PROPERTY Preliminary estimates supplied by the Ministry of Health Regional Officers indicate that during the week ended 1st May, 18 houses in England and Wales were destroyed or damaged beyond rapair and 82 houses were damaged but are repairable. No damage during the week was reported in Scotland or in the London Civil Defence Region.
