A portion of the railway track and timber wagons were destroyed at the South Docks, Sunderland, on 13th/14th January. Four railway trucks were damaged at the Victoria Dock, London, and there were restrictions on river traffic between Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge, and between Cherry Garden Pier and Wapping River Police Pier, on 17th/18th January.
